Points of Unity (WIP)

As a collective, Land Hearts is committed to the following practices:​

• We prioritize people, planet, and future generations over profit as stewards of the earth. 

• We use consensus-based decision making and non-violent conflict resolution. We communicate honestly and transparently both within the collective and to our greater communities.

• We use creativity and artmaking as a tool to communicate, heal, and grow. 

• We build and create with a reuse/sustainable mindset and encourage others to do the same. 

• We provide access to land that’s affordable and fosters generational housing and communal spaces, while creating an atmosphere where the anxiety of displacement is dissolved.

• Racial, social, and environmental justice are key arcs that drive the development of our anti-capitalist structure. We value relationships and integrity over being a money making machine.

• We honor nature and its power as a restorative and healing force that can be tapped into by slowing down and working with the seasons.

• We share our material, experiential, and informational resources both within and beyond the collective.

• We acknowledge that you can be and love in unlimited ways.
